URAC Announces Winners of 2013 Best Practices in Consumer Engagement and Protection Awards – Award recognizes the achievements of organizations in the areas of care coordination and clinical integration, health plans, and quality measurement and data analytics.
Washington, DC – URAC, a leading health care accreditation and education organization, announced yesterday the winners of the 2013 Best Practices Awards honoring organizations that are actively pursuing practices to advance consumer engagement and protection in an exceptional, measurable, and reproducible way.
Organizations were recognized in the categories of care coordination and clinical integration, health plans, and quality measurement and data analytics. Platinum awards were also given in the categories of Consumer Decision-Making and Consumer Health Improvement. All winners were recognized at the 2013 Best Practices Awards Gala as part of URAC’s Annual Quality Summit, held September 30 – October 1, 2013 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.
